Lewis County has over 600 miles of MAINTAINED snowmobile trails connecting 100's of miles of additional trails in NYS. Ideal conditions and traffic is Monday through Friday. Snow Ridge, a ski resort within 3 miles of Timberview, offers downhill skiing and snowboarding. There is cross country skiing adjacent to Timberview in the Lesser Wilderness Area.
